COLLECTIVE INQUIRY CONSTELLATIONS

With individual integrity, we can explore collective consciousness for the benefit of beings.

Are you…

  • Interested in collectively inquiring into collective-level issues for the benefit of all?
  • Stable and grounded to work safely in a group process which may be intense at times?
  • Someone who has a spiritual practice and cares about community, nature, and our larger humanity?

Collective Inquiry Constellations (CIC) is a new form that came to me in August 2019, combining a spiritual inquiry practice called a cyclic that resembles a talking circle with constellations. My vision is to play together with creating collective fields of knowing and intelligence for the greater good. Exploring collective-level issues collectively, topics include: cultural conditioning, diversity, finding love amidst the pandemic, our relationship to nature/ecosystem/climate adaptation, and more.

Starting with a collective issue, we do a variation on a talking circle I’ll teach you, to listen for themes and resonances to help choose which aspects to represent. I then facilitate everyone in the Collective Inquiry Constellation to place themselves in relation to each other. In an open-ended way, we let the constellation unfold and see what emerges collectively and between the aspects. It’s a small group format for four to seven participants.

So far it’s been coherent and rewarding. We’ve found that inquiring collectively with constellations has opened us to new ways of resonating with and understanding collective-level issues. Sometimes the group feels like we’re in a hologram or one’s experience might be non-dual or transformative in some other way. The representatives, who are also called resonators, might clash, transform, merge and/or reveal what is needed. Sometimes it’s as if some universal truth we’ve learned about is coming alive, completely enfolding the group, while at the same time emerging from it. There is a sweet mystery to the unfolding.

A variety of experiences are valid and supported. Feeling gratitude for the richness and learning. And we’ve only just begun.

“As we started the cyclic I felt sadness and stillness at the same time, and as that continued vulnerability came up. Joining in the constellation, I felt a strong pull to represent Vulnerability…. The representative for Heart wanted to move toward me as Vulnerability…. Later, when Heart spoke to all the other representatives, as Vulnerability I felt myself shift to a black, quiet, peaceful stillness. It felt like the stillness moved through all of the representatives. There was no sense of separation. Everything relaxed and became fluid.” – Collective Inquiry Constellation participant

If you’d like to participate in a CIC or want one for your group, please be in touch or check the Schedule for public offerings. Requests for specific collective-level issues welcome.
